Vasak appointed to NAID Certification Rules Committee

NAID Direct – Feb 21, 2013  –  The NAID Board of Directors recently approved three new members for the NAID Certification Rules Committee, including Vladimir Vasak of K-2 Partners, LLC. They will be serving a two-year term, effective immediately. The Certification Rules Committee is responsible for determining and revising NAID AAA Certification Program specifications, application and processes.

“I am excited to be playing an active role in NAID again”, said Vasak. “I am a strong supporter of NAID and believe that it is a critical ingredient in the successful evolution of the Secure Destruction industry”, he added.

Vasak has an extensive record of service with NAID (National Association for Information Destruction), having served on the Board of Directors for two terms as Director (2001-2003 and 2006-2008) and as Past President (2004-2005). He also chaired the Complaint Resolution Council (2006-2009), was a member, then Chair and then member again of the Marketing Committee (2001-2005). He also previously served as a member of the Certification Rules Committee (2002-2005).

In 2006 Vasak was presented with the President’s Award, the association’s highest discretionary honor, for his contribution to the advancement of the industry. He was also twice presented with the Member of the Year award, once on behalf of Iron Mountain and once as a committee member.
