Industry Veterans Join Forces In New M&A Firm, K-2 Partners, LLC.

July 5, 2010  –  Document and Information Management industry veterans Bob Miller, Vlad Vasak and Ross Engelman announced today the creation of K-2 Partners LLC, an industry-based Mergers & Acquisitions advisory firm (rimvendorhosting.com).

Between them, the three founding partners have more than 60 years of industry management and over 80 years of hands-on management experience in service-based B2B environments. They have an extensive track record of international management and perspective, having operated businesses and closed mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures throughout North America, Europe/UK, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.

The K-2 Partners executive team has transacted more than 150 buy, sell and equity joint venture transactions in the Document and Information Management industry across five continents. These transactions have ranged from single city US$250,000 deals to a multi-national US$1 billion transaction.

They are leaders in the development of the Records Management, Data Protection, Secure Destruction, Digital Document Print and Fulfillment, as well as Document Imaging and Business Process Management industries.

“Each of us has individual strengths, a specific focus on different industry sectors and a unique approach. As K-2Partners, we leverage our complimentary skill set, unmatched experience and broad industry connections to give our clients the benefit of our knowhow when negotiating the sale of their business. We know what buyers are looking for and how to negotiate a win-win deal for all parties”, said Bob Miller.

K-2 Partners has already secured several engagements globally, confirming the company’s own assessment of the underlying strength within the various Document and Information Management industry sectors.
