American Container Acquires Kilch Enterprises. Company is the exclusive distributor for IPL Classic carts and Regal Ergo cabinets. K-2 Partners acted as exclusive advisor to the sellers of Kilch Enterprises, Inc.

December 20, 2012  –  American Container Equipment & Supplies LLC (ACES) has completed the purchase of Kilch Enterprises Inc., Marietta, Ga. Marietta-based ACES has warehouses throughout the United States and is owned and operated by Claire and Emil Brignola III.

Kilch Enterprises provided secured document containers to the shredding industry for 14 years.

With its acquisition of Kilch, ACES is now the exclusive distributor of IPL Classic carts for the shredding industry as well as the manufacturer and distributor of the secure Regal Ergo cabinet.

ACES says it plans to expand its product line based on industry needs and customer feedback.

“We’re soliciting our best resource—our customers—on new products to smartly fill out our product line,” Emil says.

Prior to forming ACES, Emil was a managing director of sales for the Coca-Cola Food Service division and later a Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburger franchisee, while Claire is a veteran of IBM. He also was injured in service to the U.S. Army.

“We are very excited to be part of a growing and very important industry,” Claire says. “We will continue to provide the excellent customer service that the Kilches were known for.”

Jim and Nancy Kilch, the former owners of Kilch Enterprises, have retired from the container business.
