Access Announces the Acquisition of Records Retention Services, Inc. This latest acquisition expands Access’ service reach in the Southeast. K-2 Partners acted as exclusive advisor to the sellers of Records Retention Services, Inc. in Montgomery AL.
February 2, 2012 – Access Information Management, leading provider of records management storage and destruction services for hardcopy and electronic records, announced the acquisition of the assets of Records Retention Services, Inc. in Montgomery, Alabama. This acquisition represents a strategic expansion of Access’ service coverage area in the Southeast and includes a full-service records management storage center and plant-based, document destruction facility.
The acquisition of Records Retention Services, Inc. marks Access’ 35th acquisition and a strategic expansion of the Southeast service cluster. Under the direction of Branch Manager, Andrew Garner, and oversight of General Manager, Gary West, Access will continue to service the existing client base as well as new clients from the local records management facilities in Montgomery. Clients in the Montgomery area will now have access to end-to-end records and information management (RIM) services including hard copy storage and management, secure destruction services, vital records protection, document imaging and digital storage through a single service provider.
