Dianne Vollgraff-Rushton, RHIT

Vollgraff-Rushton has over 30 years experience in the Health Information Management (HIM) field and has held management roles in acute care hospital settings. In addition to her management experience she has served as an educator, author and public speaker on several health information management related topics. She was a founding member of the Association of Health Information Outsourcing Services (AHIOS) organization.

Responsible for developing the ROI business line throughout the Iron Mountain enterprise including strategic planning, building customer relationships as well as revenue generation and infrastructure support. Duties included the design and implementation of standard operating procedures, maintaining operations in compliance with state and federal regulations and increasing market share.

Began operations in 1986; responsible for staff recruitment, training and development, sales and marketing, quality assurance initiatives, state and federal regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, payroll and benefit administration as well as all other normal business activities. Achieved 80% regional market penetration within five years.

Vollgraff-Rushton has held her American Health Information Management Association credentials since 1979 and has been a member of numerous state and national HIM associations.
