Post-acquisition integration

As buyers, we know that closing the deal is only the beginning of the fun. Sure there is a sense of elation and accomplishment, but there is also a realization that a lot of hard work lies ahead in order to realize the projected benefits, anticipated leverage and value locked up in the newly-acquired business.
